Manuel Co as the guest speaker for the virtual moving-up ceremony. It was both an honor and a privilege to have an esteemed member of the Filipino – Chinese community, and the Chairman of PIQC’s Board of Trustees, Mr. Followed by an introduction for the guest speaker by Ashley Ann Berzabal, the batch’s second honors for English. The ceremony started with an invocation led by the batch’s third honor’s for English, Randeen Zafia Lim. It was a strenuous climb towards success, but this year’s batch of Grade 10 students proved that they can surely go over the top and claim their victory in the end. Students were forced to stay at home and attend classes in front of their screens instead of face to face. We were forced to accept change as the world slowly shifted to do everything virtually. To say that this year has been a challenging year for everyone would be an understatement. With the same theme for Grades 6 and 12, “Enduring Life’s Challenges Towards Success.” After a year of braving the waves of virtual classes, the Philippine Institute of Quezon City (PIQC) celebrated its Virtual Moving-Up Ceremony for Grade 10 Batch 2021 last May 29, 2021.
